Signs

She's everywhere. In every familiar lock of hair, recognizable skin tone, a strut worth remembering, even in my dreams. Are these signs I should be following? If they are then it's a path I would rather not go down. Went down there before and got lost for 2 years. Cant afford that again. Even new friends have some characteristic of her. The worst is the name. Perhaps I'm just destined for those first 4 letters so similar, so smooth when they roll of my tongue but leave a bittersweet aftertaste. The times of yore are gone. Time to press on into a bold new world.
